Canon has officially announced the latest "super zoom" bridge camera for their powershot line up. And for all the Canon fans out there who waited for four freaking years for an upgrade for the predecessor SX60HS, it seems you guys have to look for an alternative. basically like all the consumer electronic products, the new version came with upgraded hardware but surprisingly canon chopped down some of the features in the previous model,making it an underwhelming upgrade.  When you consider the super zoom bridge camera market, Nikon has recently announced the Nikon P1000 with 125x optical zoom lens. and at the moment, without a doubt they are leading the super zoom market. As a SX60HS user, i strongly believed that canon will launch the SX70HS with a 100x zoom lens as they have filed the patents for such a technology.
